2008 NHL Playoffs and Sydney Crosby

I was on LinkReferral about three weeks ago and where my interest
is reading blogs and Lenses, I came across a Blog by Michael Spense.

Michael's articles deal with having success with Affiliate programs by
communicating and helping your downline members grow. His latest
article deals with us Bloggers and presenting "honest" opportunities
for people to join and become a part of a team. His articles are
in depth and deal with a variety of subjects but was honored that
he mention me in a couple of his posts.

From the beginning we developed a friendship and I initially broke the
ice with the NHL Playoffs and wondered if he was a fan of the
Philadelphia Flyers. Turned out he was a Penguin fan routing for the
Pittsburgh Penguins. At that time, my Montreal Canadians were in it
but lost out in the third round.

Michael's Penguins are still in and fighting to win the Division title today
against the Philadelphia Flyers. Sydney Crosby, one of the games top
players plays for Pittsburgh and was born in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
That's only about 30 minutes away from me in Halifax, Canada.

We shot friendly emails back and forth on how the Penguins are doing.
During this exchange I was thinking... if I was joing an Affiliate Program
or company, Michael would be the type of guy to join under because
he obviously has the desire to help me build my business as well as
his.

One of the keys to succeeding in Affiliate, MLM, or whatever kind of
sponsor related program, you need to find who and what your sponsor
is all about. You need to join under the Michael's out there to get the
support you need and know there is a person above you who is serious
about the business and building it for the both of you.
