Comparing 10DollarsWonder And MLM
If you read my last article, you can see I am getting tired of MLM programs. Build downlines
and constantly replacing those that leave after a month or two. I believe in "The Secret"
and that is why I am determined to continue with my quest to make my Home Biz my primary
income. I am making money on some of these programs but after a while, it bothers me
to see my commission checks go up and down like a roller coaster.
In my recent post on my revived Blog, Financial Independence Seeker, I am switching "tracks"
and going on a new course. Actually it's not that new for me since I started experimenting
with it back in 2007. I'll still keep dabbling in one or two of my favorite MLM programs but
concentrate on Blogging and Affiliate Programs plus Advertise For Profits.
The purpose of this article is to do a comparison of a program that I am a member of,
10DollarsWonder and comparing it to an average MLM's compensation plan.
MLM
Let's take a company that rewards it's affiliates with $1.00 per downline member a month.
There are quite a few out there that follow this plan. OK...10 members equals $10.00
Simple enough and that's all an Affiliate will receive. Eventually as these 10 get members
grow their downlines, those one dollar bills will start to multiply. The initial goal here is to
break even and have enough downline members to offset you monthly subscription fee.
Let's use $10.00 a month in this example.
1ODollarsWonder
With 10DollarsWonder, the cost to buy a position is $10.00 and you are required to purchase
or repurchase another position within 30 days or lose your previous positions. There are
other methods of renewing your positions as well. With each referral you bring into 10DW
you receive $1.00 per $10.00 position purchase. So far, MLM and 10DW are similar but this
is where it begins to differ. In the 10DW "backoffice" a member has access to their account
balance and it will being to grow within two days of an initial purchase.
Another difference is that there is no requirement to sponsor anyone with 10DW, a member's
account balance will grow as position purchases are made. Now we get into multiple position
purchases and as each position "cycles" 10 cents goes into a members account.
In closing...another major difference is that instead of being limited to $1.00 per person in your
downline in MLM, a referral in 10DW can make multiple position purchases at any time. For an
example, if your referral bought 25 positions(which is common) for $250.00 you will receive
$25.00 of that amount and it will be added to your account balance. That is just from
one referral.
The extra earning potential with a program like 10DollarsWonder is what making people, as well
as myself, have a good hard look at where they are now with MLM and where they could be by
turning dimes into dollars.
